Isaiah 61:1
The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;

Angle: It is a mark of favor to hear, understand, and receive the good news of Jesus the Deliverer.

“For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich. (2 Corinthians 8:9)

Reflection

We are favored to have access to the gospel. That same favor must move us to share it generously with others who are still in darkness.

Prayer: Father in Heaven, Thank You for your favor that moved me from darkness into Your dear kingdom in Jesus Name Amen.

2.“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.” (Romans 1:16)

Prayer: Father in Heaven, Remove shame and fear; and let me boldly share the good news that delivered me in Jesus Name Amen.

3.“Freely ye have received, freely give.” (Matthew 10:8b)

Prayer: Father in Heaven, Since I received this good news freely, help me give it freely to families, neighbors, and nations in Jesus Name Amen.
