GLORIOUS FRIDAY
*THE BENEFITS OF GOD’S DELIGHT IN HIS MUSIC SERVANTS 3*
SUB: A DELIVERER FOR THE MUSIC SERVANT
*Psalm 18:19b*
He delivered me, because he delighted in me.
*Psalm 18:1-3*
1 I will love thee, O Lord, my strength.
2 The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.
3 I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.
Judges 3:9-11
9 And when the children of Israel cried unto the Lord, the Lord raised up a deliverer to the children of Israel, who delivered them, even Othniel the son of Kenaz, Caleb’s younger brother.
10 And the Spirit of the Lord came upon him, and he judged Israel, and went out to war: and the Lord delivered Chushan–rishathaim king of Mesopotamia into his hand; and his hand prevailed against Chushan–rishathaim.
11 And the land had rest forty years. And Othniel the son of Kenaz died.
*LESSONS*
God’s Glory is revealed in our lives by His acts when He delights in us. (Ps 18:19)
1. Every Music Servant is in a War
Ephesians 6:12
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
This scripture is not only for prayer warriors.
Every music servant in God’s kingdom is a warrior
There are so many called music servants but very few are delivering in music ministry because their prayer deficiency is perpetually causing an anointing insufficiency
Stir up the gifts by the anointing through prayer – 2 Tim 1:6
*2. Hostages are taken during Wars*
Regardless of who caused it, you can be in a battle without your consent as long as you take sides.
In every war, each side captures soldiers/civilians of the opponent.
Reason for taking hostage unbelievers:
To kill and destroy
Reason for taking hostage the music servant:
They cannot kill the hostage; hold them bound to prevent an onslaught
*3. God is the deliverer of the music servant*
Held for ransom; but Jesus Christ has paid the ransom for every soul
Jesus has already won the victory for us, it is up to us to wage war to deliver every hostage based on the authority of Christ.
When we pray, God raises deliverers for every situation
