GOD TRIES OUR HEARTS BEFORE BLESSING US
Proverbs 21:2
Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the Lord pondereth the hearts.Proverbs 17:3
The fining pot is for silver, and the furnace for gold: but the Lord trieth the hearts.
A Heart for Elevation
Remain content, because sometimes when certain blessings delay, it is because God is trying our hearts.
Psalm 78:70-72
70 He chose David also his servant, and took him from the sheepfolds:
71 From following the ewes great with young he brought him to feed Jacob his people, and Israel his inheritance.
72 So he fed them according to the integrity of his heart; and guided them by the skilfulness of his hands.1 Kings 9:4-5
4 And if thou wilt walk before me, as David thy father walked, in integrity of heart, and in uprightness, to do according to all that I have commanded thee, and wilt keep my statutes and my judgments:
5 Then I will establish the throne of thy kingdom upon Israel for ever, as I promised to David thy father, saying, There shall not fail thee a man upon the throne of Israel.

16 Let his heart be changed from man’s, and let a beast’s heart be given unto him; and let seven times pass over him.
17 This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men.
Prayer for a Heart for Elevation:
Psalm 139:23-24
23 Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:
24 And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
Lord, any condition of heart which is delays your blessing or fights you blessing, please fix it
Proverbs 21:1
1 The king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will.
