John 1:5

5  And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

• – In the month of December and in the year 2023, no darkness will ever stop your shine in Jesus Name!
• – The darker and gloomier the world looks, the brighter you will shine!
• – In the Name of Jesus, according to the Word of God, the light of God in me will shine and overcome every darkness around me.
• – Everywhere God directs me to go this month, the Light of God shall permeate there in Jesus Name.

2nd Prophetic Word for the month

Isaiah 60:1-3

1Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.

2For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.

3And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.

The Light of The Believer

• – Our Light as believers is what will draw unbelievers to the Kingdom in the endtime
• – The brightness of our rising is what will attract the attention of Kings to us
• – As darkness grosses over the earth, may your light shine brighter and brighter
• Any cause of darkness you cannot understand naturally has been caused spiritually!
• The only way to deal with spiritual darkness is spiritual light through spiritual awakening; not natural light

WHY MUST WE PRAY?

• 2023 will get darker; but you must shine brighter

Why Darkness?

• To cause the believer to be fully dependent on God because of the adversary

1 Peter 5:6-8

6  Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:

7  Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

8  Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

The Effects of Darkness

1. Misunderstanding and Mistakes –

Matthew 22:29

29  Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.

You cannot solve a problem you cannot comprehend.

2. Time Waste –

through try and error; working in the dark

And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do (1 Chronicles 12:32)

3. Deception and Accidents –

Matthew 15:14

14  Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.

4. Cold, Hunger, Attacks and Death –

Isaiah 54:17

17  No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.
