On 10th April 2026, we had the privilege of visiting Chemu Senior High School in Tema, Greater Accra Region, as part of our 10 @10 Project.
Located in the vibrant harbour city of Tema (Community 4), Chemu SHS continues to nurture young minds in a dynamic academic environment that prepares students for excellence.
Our team was warmly received by the students, teachers, and school leadership. The atmosphere was energetic and filled with curiosity as we interacted with hundreds of students eager to learn and grow.
Highlights of the Outreach
Worship: The air was filled with excitement and anointing as the team led the students in powerful songs of praise, lifting the name of the Lord in joyful worship.
Headmistress Address: The Headmistress of Chemu SHS addressed the students, expressing appreciation for the outreach program and encouraging them to make the most of the session.
Emeralds Performance: The Emeralds (a dance group in the school) delivered a captivating performance that further energized the atmosphere and blessed the students.
Drama Presentation: The drama team presented a compelling performance themed around making the most of present opportunities for academic success while keeping God at the centre of it all.
Pep Talk & Mentorship: The team challenged the students to take their academic studies seriously and to channel the same passion they have for seeking God into every area of their lives. Students were encouraged to learn new skills, use social media productively, and avoid limiting their career choices based solely on their course of study.
Refreshment: We were delighted to have Promasidor Ghana Ltd. partner with us by providing refreshing beverages for all the students, adding a sweet and thoughtful touch to the day.
Prayer Session: We concluded with a powerful time of prayer with the Form 3 students ahead of their upcoming examinations. We interceded for them and specifically prayed for those aspiring to serve in God’s Kingdom.
We are particularly grateful to the Headmistress, the entire staff and students of Chemu SHS, and Promasidor Ghana Ltd. for their warm hospitality and support.
