THEME SCRIPTURE:
‎(Acts 10:38)
“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.”

Main Scripture:
Hebrews 13:6: “So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.”‎

Reflection:
Before we help others, we must acknowledge our own need for God. He helps the minister in quiet decisions as surely as in public service.

1. Begin each day by naming the Lord as your source of help.  

‎Scripture:
 Psalm 121:2: “My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.”

‎2. Bring a burden you have been carrying alone to Him.  

‎Scripture:
 1 Peter 5:7: “Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.”

‎3. Ask for wisdom before a difficult task or conversation.  

‎Scripture:
James 1:5: “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.”
